The Law Enforcement Training Academy and Consulting (LETAC) offers training courses for peace officers, attorneys, and other law enforcement professionals. Our programs are focused on education and designed to empower participants to serve their communities with honor and integrity while equipping them with the tools needed for sound and ethical decision-making.

LETAC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This role is heavily focused on administrative functions, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with diverse professionals, and supporting mission-driven work in the public safety and legal training space.

What You’ll Do

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to leadership and staff
  • Update, format, and revise documents, reports, and templates to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations

Communication & Customer Service

  • Provide professional support for internal and external inquiries
  • Respond to phone and email communications in a timely, professional manner

Office Operations

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
  • Support document management, version control, and recordkeeping
  • Assist with general office coordination and workflow support

Data & Record Management

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Generate basic reports and assist with administrative tracking needs

Minimum Qualifications

A successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent administrative experience)
  • 2+ years of administrative or office support experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor when working with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a professional services or legal environment
  • Familiarity with database systems or CRM platforms
  • Interest in public service or legal operations

Compensation is based on experience, $24-$29 per hour
