Eckberg Lammers, P.C. is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support our growing real estate practice. This position offers flexibility, with options to work remotely, hybrid, or in-person from our Hudson, Wisconsin office.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who brings strong technical skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to exceptional client service. This role plays a key part in delivering efficient, high-quality legal work consistent with our core values of Drive, Knowledge, Integrity, and Professionalism. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit ($75,000 – $100,000 annually).
What You’ll Do
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and underlying title documents; identify and help resolve issues
- Assist with drafting title objection letters, closing documents, and transaction-related correspondence
- Review and abstract commercial leases, including office, retail, industrial, and ground leases
- Prepare and review estoppel certificates, subordination agreements, and related documents
- Draft transactional documents, including:
- Deeds
- Easements
- Assignments
- Affidavits
- Support purchase, sale, and financing transactions from inception through closing
- Coordinate due diligence, including entity documents, legal descriptions, and closing requirements
- Prepare and maintain closing checklists and transaction files
- Assist attorneys with drafting contracts, leases, amendments, and corporate documents

Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience in a legal office setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
