The City of New Richmond names Nicholas Vivian, Eckberg Lammers Law Firm as City Attorney

December 19, 2014 - New Richmond, WI: At the recommendation of the Mayor and Finance Committee, the New Richmond City Council has named Nicholas Vivian, Eckberg Lammers Law firm, to fulfill the role of City Attorney.

This past October, the city sent out Request's for Proposal (RFP's) for attorney services and the Finance Committee interviewed three firms for consideration of the position. Eckberg Lammers was named over the other two firms submitting proposals.

Eckberg Lammers has been a member of the New Richmond Chamber of Commerce for several years and has an office in downtown New Richmond. Mr. Vivian is a lead attorney in the areas of municipal, banking and business law with great perspective and a practical approach to assisting clients.

With the city of New Richmond being the cornerstone of its efforts in Western Wisconsin, Eckberg Lammers also represents 15 Twin Cities metro municipalities.

Mr. Vivian stated that the he and the Eckberg Lammers' team are honored to represent the city. The firm will begin working with the city at the beginning of 2015.
