Attorney Tom Lehmann of Eckberg Lammers Recognized for his Pro Bono work in 2015

Both Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) and the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Recognize Tom Lehmann for his Pro Bono work in 2015.

Stillwater, MN; May 23, 2016:  Eckberg Lammers is pleased to announce that attorney Thomas Lehmann has been recognized for his Pro Bono work in 2015.

Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) honors Tom as Featured Volunteer Attorney for 2015.

"On behalf of SMRLS’ board, staff and clients, we recognize and thank Tom Lehmann for his truly stellar efforts in providing pro bono services to those who needed it most in 2015."

Tom donated over 200 hours of time in 2015 alone to handle three family law cases in Washington County, all of which ended with favorable outcomes for the clients and their families.

For me, volunteering at SMRLS is part of my recognition that everyone should have access to the justice system regardless of their situation,” states Mr. Lehmann. “Lawyers always hear the phrase ‘equal justice under law.’ For me, if that is our promise then we need to fulfill that obligation and one way for me to do that is to volunteer.

As a volunteer with SMRLS for 26 years, who represented 20 SMRLS clients in just the past 5 years alone, Tom continues to do just that.

Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) recognizes Tom as a 2015 North Star Lawyer.

Tom Lehmann has been recognized as a 2015 North Star Lawyer for his commitment to providing essential volunteer legal services to Minnesota’s low-income residents.

This is the second year in a row that Mr. Lehmann has been recognized for his volunteer work in this program.

To be named a North Star Lawyer, an attorney must be a member of the MSBA and provide at least 50 hours of pro bono service in the calendar year. Attorneys recognized are included on the annual North Star Lawyer roster in Bench & Bar of Minnesota.
