Daniel F. Burns Joins Eckberg Lammers, P.C.

New attorney joins firm’s Public Finance and Municipal Law groups

April 14, 2017 - Stillwater, MNEckberg Lammers is happy to announce the hiring of Daniel F. Burns as we continue to expand our Public Finance and Municipal Law groups.

In his new role, Daniel will serve as one of Eckberg Lammers’ Public Finance and Municipal Law attorneys, with a special emphasis on affordable housing matters. The Firm represents governmental entities throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin on these important public infrastructure and financing projects.

“Dan is a welcome addition to our Public Finance and Municipal Law teams,” firm shareholder Andrew Pratt stated. “He specializes in municipal bond counsel and other types of financings for the local governments that we represent. Additionally, economic development and redevelopment projects are picking up again, and Dan will be able to assist with tax increment financing (TIF), tax abatement, and similar types of transactions in these areas.”

Aside from his work in our Public Finance and Municipal Law groups, Daniel also assists individuals with wills and estate planning needs, and provides services in the commercial and residential real estate areas.

Prior to joining Eckberg Lammers, Daniel clerked for the St. Paul Public Housing Agency at the City of St. Paul City Attorney’s Office. He has also served as a legal advisor at the United Nations in New York City, NY. He is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis.
