Attorney Amanda Schlitz Helping Bring Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) Program to Minnesota

Eckberg Lammers, P.C. attorney Amanda Schlitz has the honor of working with a distinguished group of colleagues from the Bankruptcy Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association to start a Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) program in Minnesota. CARE is a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to inspiring smart financial decision-making in young adults, high school students and their families.

The organization recruits and trains professionals in the bankruptcy and other financial services fields, and those folks are then invited to schools and other venues to teach the fundamentals of personal financial management. Instead of waiting until financial damage has already been done, CARE recognizes the importance of personal-finance education for youth and young adults so they have a better understanding of how to make smarter credit decisions and be best positioned for a successful future.
