The City of Mankato Appoints Eckberg Lammers to Provide Both Civil Municipal and Prosecution Services to the City

August 25, 2021 – Stillwater, Minnesota: On Monday, August 23rd, the Mankato City Council, by unanimous vote, named Eckberg Lammers Civil Municipal and Prosecution counsel.

Earlier this summer, Mankato initiated a competitive Request for Proposal process for both positions. They received seven responses for Civil Attorney services and two for Prosecution services. Following interviews in early August, the City Manager and selection committee recommended Eckberg Lammers to provide both services for the City.

Pam Whitmore will fill the role of City Attorney. With over fifteen years of experience working with municipalities, Pam’s experience will be a valued addition to the city. “Eckberg Lammers is appreciative of the opportunity to serve the citizens of Mankato and is looking forward to working with the City Council and the employees of the City,” said attorney Pam Whitmore.

In addition to the civil representation, our prosecution team also received support from the council for the contract regarding prosecution work. Our dedicated and experienced prosecution attorneys will provide comprehensive misdemeanor prosecution services to the City.

City Attorney services will begin immediately and prosecution services will begin in October 2021.
