Allison Rapp Fredrickson

Attorney

Areas of Practice

As an attorney handling juvenile, family and criminal matters, my value lies in helping families transition through the difficult processes that face them. I understand many of the underlying issues that bring people to my office, including chemical dependency and mental health concerns.

Allison Rapp Fredrickson is an attorney in our Family Law group. With over thirteen years experience as a practicing attorney in the family law field, Allison has dealt with highly emotional and personal legal issues facing families in times of change, including cases that require mediation and courtroom settings.

Her experience and compassion helping individuals and families maneuver through the complicated family law legal system while representing them in a fair, but assertive manner are valuable assets that serve to protect her clients interests. While clerking for a Second Judicial District family court referee, she also gained valuable insight into how and why judges enter orders that have a profound impact on parents and families and uses this knowledge to promote a respectful and amicable resolution.

Allison focuses on:

  • Child custody
  • Child support
  • Divorce
  • Divorce decree enforcement
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution / Mediation
  • Spousal support
  • Parenting time
  • Property divisions
  • Visitation disputes
  • Adoptions

Aside from her focus in Family Law, Allison also has experience in Criminal Law and Civil Litigation. Prior to joining Eckberg Lammers, she was an attorney with Dudley & Smith, P.A. in St. Paul, MN.

Allison is an active member of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, a non-profit organization that educates the public, lawyers, judges and law students in the areas of addiction and mental health. This knowledge and work in the community helps her deal with the issues facing many of her clients.

Allison is committed to community service and outreach, particularly in areas of juvenile and youth services. She is a mentor to youth in the Boy Scouts of America organization and is also actively involved in the Minnesota State Bar Association's Mock Trial program.

She makes her home in St. Paul, with her husband, three sons and a daughter. She enjoys running, yoga and spending time outside.
