Christopher Nelson is an attorney in our Municipal Law Group as well as serving clients in Civil Litigation matters. He has developed an exceptional acumen for guiding local government clients throughout Minnesota, representing numerous municipalities prior to joining Eckberg Lammers.
Christopher works diligently with his clients across a variety of issues facing municipalities to protect their interests and help them achieve their goals, including:

- CARES Act Compliance
He also has experience helping business and public sector clients effectively navigate the full spectrum of employment law by providing general counsel and litigation support.
Christopher attended Occidental College graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and from William Mitchell College of Law with a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude. After graduation from law school, Christopher worked in the public sector, where he clerked for the Honorable Ross L. Leuning of the Third Judicial District gaining experience on civil, criminal and family law cases. He then worked for the Housing Justice Center focusing on affordable housing litigation and policy before starting private practice in 2017.
Christopher lives in Mahtomedi. He enjoys spending time with family, golfing, skiing, and time on the water.
