Patrick Boley LL.M.

Areas of Practice

At the heart of every strong community are families – and effective planning can help them thrive. Whether it’s for a will, a family trust or the transition of a business, the best planning always starts with careful listening.

Patrick Boley is an attorney in our Estate Planning, Trust and Probate practice area. He obtained his LL.M. (Master of Law) in Taxation and a Certificate of Estate Planning from Georgetown University. With more than 18 years, he offers exceptional skills and knowledge to his clients across a platform of legal practice areas and offers exceptional skills and knowledge to his clients.

Patrick takes time to understand clients’ current needs and to ensure that beneficiaries’ financial and other interests are fully protected. He counsels clients step by step through the process and specializes in strategically determining and drafting a plan that most effectively addresses their unique estate planning and/or probate needs.

In the event litigation should arise, Patrick combines strong advocacy skills with a professional, low-key approach that advances his clients’ interests while seeking to protect estate assets, limit costs and preserve family relationships.

Areas of focus include:

  • Wills and revocable trusts
  • Health care directives
  • Powers of attorney
  • Special needs trusts
  • Life insurance trusts
  • Charitable trusts
  • Probate
  • Conservatorships
  • Post death planning

Patrick is a long-time member of the board of directors for Reach for Resources, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to assisting individuals and families with disabilities. He also volunteers with the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota and has provided pro bono representation to domestic abuse victims via the Harriet Tubman Chrysalis Center.
