Overview
Eric Sherburne is an attorney in our Banking & Finance group. Eric has over 20 years’ experience representing financial institutions regarding loan origination and loan enforcement as well as deposit and operations issues.
Eric’s focus is on the creditor-side bankruptcy practice and front-end loan financing projects. He regularly advises and advocates for business entities and individuals regarding business agreements, secured transactions, collections, bankruptcy, and credit-related issues, including:
- Loan documentation
- Commercial loan enforcement
- Workout agreements
- Creditors’ rights in bankruptcy
- Foreclosure & replevin (repossession)
- Uniform commercial code issues
- Deposits and operations issues
- Real estate litigation
Prior to joining Eckberg Lammers, Eric spent several years as a shareholder at Stein & Moore, P.A. in St. Paul, MN where he practiced in the areas of banking, bankruptcy, and collections. He is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law.
Eric lives in the southeast metro. Outside the office, he enjoys travel, Geocaching, and inspecting taprooms.
