This role will focus on litigation in the areas of civil, business, and real estate litigation.

What You’ll Do

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process and manage a litigation case from preliminary investigation through all phases of pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial
  • Professionalism and prioritization of client customer service and representation
  • Strategize on resolving client cases in a favorable manner
  • Provide proficient communications, consultation, and sound advice to clients

Required Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications

  • Must be admitted to practice in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin and in good standing
  • Three to 10 years of litigation experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of civil procedural rules and practices
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of administrative rules and practices
  • Strong writing and research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to details, and organizational skills
  • Extensive experience researching and drafting
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with and manage client expectations
  • High level of personal confidence and professional competence
  • Emotionally positive, resilient, and mature; readily adapts to diverse situations
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Driven, focused self-starter with strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills
  • Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive, high-energy, demanding entrepreneurial environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to connect with the community, professional organizations, and clients to build and grow the litigation team
