Employer Legislative Alert: Sick and Safe Time Update
| The Minnesota House of Representatives passed the Earned Sick and Safe Time bill on February 16, 2023. The effective date of this bill, if passed by the Senate and signed by the Governor, would be January 1, 2024. This bill provides all employees working over 80 hours in a year with an hour of paid sick and safe time for every thirty hours worked up to 48 total hours.
