February 20, 2023 – Stillwater, MN: Eckberg Lammers is pleased to announce the addition of Eric Larson to our Municipal Law group. His practice focuses in the area of municipal law with an emphasis on real estate development, zoning and land use, construction, contracts, public and private finance, environment, government grant assistance, and regulatory compliance.

“The addition of Eric is part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to the firm’s Municipal Law practice,” shareholder Nick Vivian stated. “Eric brings with him a well-rounded legal municipal and economic development background that will aid in providing our municipalities with quality representation and results.”

Prior to joining Eckberg Lammers Eric served as general counsel for the Saint Paul Port Authority for fifteen years. As senior counsel, he led some of the City’s most iconic redevelopment projects such as the Ford Plant, Allianz Field, Hillcrest Golf Course and 3M site. He has an exceptional acumen for guiding local government through the variety of issues before them to protect their interests and help achieve their goals.

Eric is actively involved in many organizations that focus on better the communities. He serves on the board for the Minnesota Landmark Center, the Minnesota State Bar Association Leadership Council for Diversity and Inclusion, and American Bar Association House of Delegates, as well as many other boards and personal endeavors.
