Lida Bannink Appointed to Serve as Chair for the Governing Council to the Minnesota State Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section
Eckberg Lammers, P.C. is pleased to announce attorney Lida Bannink’s appointment as Chair to the Governing Council for the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Labor and Employment Law Section. Lida was selected to serve in this role for the 2024-2025 term, during the sections meeting this past month. Lida has previously served as Member, Secretary/Treasurer, and Vice-Chair for the organization since 2020.
The Labor and Employment section is one of the largest groups in the MSBA. The Section provides members with the opportunity to build professional relationships, improve legal knowledge, and offer legal services to the community. Additional information can be found on the MSBA Website.
“I am honored to have been selected to serve as Chair for the Labor and Employment Section. Early in my career, this Section equipped me with the educational resources needed to launch my Labor and Employment practice. I am thrilled to now Chair the Governing Council, contributing to delivering the same high-quality educational services as well as networking and pro-bono opportunities to other attorneys and the public,” stated Lida.
Lida is a Board member, shareholder, and lead Labor and Employment attorney at Eckberg Lammers. Her practice provides special emphasis on counseling employers, both businesses and municipalities, on how to manage the complex web of laws and regulations to support the entities’ human resource needs.
