Eckberg Lammers Welcomes Kaitlyn Schammel to our Labor & Employment Team
Eckberg Lammers is pleased to announce that attorney Kaitlyn Schammel has joined the firm’s growing Labor & Employment practice group, where she will focus her practice on guiding public and private employers on managing the complex web of labor and employment laws and regulations. Kaitlyn advises clients on a wide range of human resource needs, helping them navigate compliance challenges while fostering effective and legally sound workplaces.
Kaitlyn brings valuable experience to Eckberg Lammers, having previously practiced at a law firm where she advised businesses on employment law compliance, including drafting workplace agreements and policies. Her background also includes in-house experience at a Fortune 500 company within employment law, as well as serving with the National Labor Relations Board, where she gained firsthand knowledge of labor law matters.
Kaitlyn earned her Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, with a concentration in Organizational Ethics and Compliance. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, Carlson School of Management.
Outside of her legal practice, Kaitlyn enjoys cheering on Minnesota sports teams—especially the Gophers, Timberwolves, and Twins. She is also an avid pickleball player and enjoys exploring new coffee shops around the Twin Cities.
“We are excited to welcome Kaitlyn to our Labor & Employment team,” said Shareholder Lida Bannink. “Her strong background in employment law, coupled with her in-house and regulatory experience, will be a tremendous asset to our clients as they navigate today’s workplace challenges.”
