Meredith Dworsky is a member of the firm’s Business Transactions and Municipal practice groups, where Meredith focuses on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial and residential real estate, and contract review. Meredith also assists the firm’s municipal clients with similar transactional needs, bringing a practical, business-minded approach to public-sector work.

Meredith earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, majoring in Management Information Systems with a minor in Business Law. Meredith went on to earn a J.D., cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Before attending law school, Meredith worked as a technology management consultant at a Chicago-based firm, advising clients on enterprise system implementation, change management, employee engagement, and corporate strategy and governance. Meredith’s clients spanned the consumer products, retail, and services industries, along with a pharmaceutical company and the consulting firm itself. That experience gave Meredith a strong foundation in how different business operations function and interact — and sparked an interest in the legal fields of business transactions, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property.

After graduating law school in May 2025 and being admitted to the Illinois Bar that November, Meredith worked as an associate attorney at a Chicago-based law firm serving municipalities throughout the Chicago area, gaining hands-on experience applying both business and legal training to public clients. Meredith draws on this combination of consulting, legal, and municipal experience to serve clients in both the Business Transactions and Municipal groups.
