Overview

Sam Pilney is based in the firm’s Hudson office and represents businesses and individuals in a range of transactional and litigation matters. His practice includes banking and finance, general business matters, and business litigation, with additional experience in labor and employment disputes.

Sam works with clients at all stages of a matter, from pre-litigation strategy and risk assessment through resolution. He is experienced in motion practice, discovery, and legal research, as well as oral advocacy in district and appellate courts. He also supports clients with general business needs, including transactional matters and day-to-day legal issues.

In his litigation practice, Sam has handled a variety of disputes, including landlord-tenant matters, and has managed cases from commencement through resolution. He collaborates closely with clients, in-house teams, and co-counsel to develop practical, goal-oriented strategies.

Outside of the office, Sam lives in Hudson with his family. He enjoys playing hockey and coaching his sons’ hockey teams.
