As we approach our next presidential election, we stand at a crossroad with a wide range of social issues becoming increasingly polarized, many employees bring strong opinions and perspectives into the workplace, whether intentionally or not. Discipline: A Positive Tool in Organizational Culture Employers in Western Wisconsin/Minnesota: There is no doubt that our general societal culture tends to avoid conflict (“Minnesota Nice”). However, when I see organizations incorporating this culture in their workplace, 99% of the time, it is not serving the organization well.
The past 6 months: During the 2022 Session, the Minnesota Legislature amended the definitions of Industrial Hemp and Marijuana legalizing THC products under pharmaceutical regulations. On July 1st, 2022 THC products became available for sale in Tobacco Shops, Gas Stations, and Hair Salons across the state.
